The Combined SIG Meeting hosted by Australian & New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA) will be held at Crowne Plaza Coogee.

This year’s meeting is convened by the Leadership and Management SIG. The theme is ‘Navigating Excellence, Inspiring Change: The Leadership Journey’.

The invited speakers will be exploring themes such as:
• Leadership without a title – how to be a leader at different stages of your career.
• Heads of Department panel.
• Leadership outside the theatre environment.
• Challenging Conversations.
• Change Management.

The program will include plenary lectures, panel discussions and workshops focusing on the skills fundamental to leadership in health care, including coaching, communication skills with the Process Communication Model and how to have a difficult conversation.

Our Anaesthetic specialists Marc Rogerson and Laylaa Martin will be attending the event this year.
